Ok. I'd like to start by saying that there are a lot of good artists out there that I like and respect and you all know who you are because I make it known.

I haven't spent much time on dA lately, and after seeing the clientele that they have picked up since I joined, I kind of almost regret doing it. This site is essentially being overrun by fucking idiots.

I'm pretty sure the main point and purpose of the site is to encourage the flow of knowledge, the expression of art and the transfer of information that all of its members has in order for people to grow as artists; not to shit on people's work simply because those who are in charge of this site allow those with the intellectual depth of mayonnaise to join and shit all over other people without actually saying anything constructive.

I think that is reason enough for me not to bother purchasing any more subscriptions to this fucking freak show again.

I just did a shoot last night with *gmesh and it turned out really well. I'm excited about it and I can't wait to work with him again and maybe another one of his models before I go away for a bit. Hopefully when I come back over Christmas I'll have the time to go again, too. I've learned quite a bit from it.

Here are some thumbs from the shoot:

I have realized that I need to get a good paying job in Calgary in order to invest more into equipment and stuff.

Haven't done much shooting myself lately, mostly just planning. Haven't heard anything back yet about my water drop/splash shots, either. Hopefully that turned out good.

Anyways....

Things are looking up, I have made plans to go off on my own and do my own thing for a little while with the help of people who support me and love me unconditionally. I have a number of projects I want to get on the go when I am finally off on my own, and I am really, really looking forward to them.

My final project I believe was a pass, and will be featured at an ART show at the NSCC Campus in Dartmouth on June 18th. I'm looking forward to seeing work done by everyone else from ACAP this year, too.

I also have finally booked a session that I can attend with *gmesh in order to get a little modeling experience and to better understand what models go through and what I can put models through without feeling guilty about doing it. *evil laughter*

It's going to be better.

I am so very sad right now that it feels as though my heart is breaking. Reality is conflicting with something I wish for and the anguish that it is causing me is almost beyond words. I am terribly saddened by my situation and it feels so badly inside for me that death could almost be welcome. I'm so very glad for people who love and care about me, and that I soon will be somewhere else where I can at last begin to heal from this terrible loss that I have suffered with for nearly a year.

Nothing is ever easy.
