Out of my first 197 photos of the day I got 11 distinguishable collision shots, and this is 197 of 197.

I have come to think that unless I change the variables around a bit more, I'll have to do some serious photoshop work to get it to look a little better in the background, and there is a really bad hot spot off to the side that I don't really like very much.

And you can tell that my shutter speed is still relatively slow because of the firework effect that seems to be going on around the splash, but as far as I am concerned it is pretty cool in its own right, though I would like to get rid of it... Which, essentially means, stronger lighting is needed because otherwise everything is going to be really under exposed.

I didn't do a lot of photoshop work to this other than very basic stuff because I would like for everyone to see what it really looks like and in order to comment appropriately on it, I can't have it all photoshopped to look as though it is something it is really not.

So I got started using *RichAllen's tutorial, which is in my favorites and also available on his site. Check out his work, because what he does makes photography more of an art than anything I have seen in a long time.
